Stormwater Quality Management Plan The Alameda Countywide Clean Water Program has prepared a Storm Water Quality Management Plan for FY2002-2008. The Plan describes how the Program will: - Work with concerned citizens to increase community awareness, everyday pollution prevention and creek preservation.
- Work with local businesses to control pollution in storm drains and creeks.
- Monitor and assess pollution problems and health of local creeks and lakes.
- Design practices for city and county government operations that contribute less pollution.

NPDES Permit for Stormwater Discharge: The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board formally reissued the Program's stormwater discharge permit on February 19, 2003. This permit, the Program's third, includes new provisions covering a number of activities, including To download a copy of the permit, click here. On March 14, 2007 the Water Board approved an amendment to Provision C.3.f of the permit, to implement the Hydromodification Management Standard. The Water Board is currently developing a Municipal Regional Permit which will include ACCWP members as well as other Phase 1 municipal stormwater permittees in the Bay Area.
